The School for Directors is an exclusive professional improvement programme aimed at assisting middle and senior managers and shareholders in performing their direct functions, gaining and developing a future vision for their businesses. The professional improvement programme, comprising seven integrated training courses, contains a section in which attorneys from our office share knowledge and experience in such legal themes as rights, obligations and liability of company managers, risks involved in concluding agreements and in legal employment relations, as well as intellectual property in business operations, and the administrative process in commercial activities.
The legal input enables course participants to gain an understanding of legal aspects of importance for business activities in Latvia, including what to demand from company counsel and which cases require additional legal expertise. Additionally, it clarifies managers’ legal liability and legal aspects related to essential business processes.
